Screencapture Software - Choices: Lots of choices. What is best for what you are doing?

Robin and Melissa have been meeting with teachers and discussing their needs. They have kept a spreadsheet of what they covered. Below is some of the things that were brought up:

looking for a way to do a stop motion video in which the kids can film themselves and project a graphing equation onto the image. Or to take an image and superimpose a graph
talked about highlights and pitfalls of the ipad. Showed each other dipity which should be our next tech tool perhaps?  Also, discussed setting her up with Prezi for her WWII course.
