What is Adobe Creative Cloud?
Canva is an all-in-one visual communication platform that empowers the world to design. It’s a simple way to create beautiful presentations, infographics, videos, t-shirts, websites, social media posts, and more.
When do I use Adobe Creative Cloud?
Adobe is a great resource for students to generate creative materials (ex: presentations, infographics, podcasts, videos, etc).
Where do I access all of the available tools in Adobe Creative Cloud?
To register and download (or for help updating) Adobe tools, please meet with the IT Help Desk.
Once downloaded, you can access Adobe tools in your Applications.
Photoshop:
When and why would I use Photoshop?
Adobe Photoshop isn’t just for professional designers and photographers—it’s a powerful tool you can use to make your school projects stand out and to bring your own creative ideas to life.
Whether you’re designing posters for a history presentation, editing photos for a science project, or creating custom graphics for a French website project, Photoshop gives you the ability to make your work look polished and professional.

Illustrator:
When and why would I use Illustrator?
Adobe Illustrator isn’t just for graphic designers—it’s a tool you can use to bring your ideas to life and make your school projects really stand out. Here are some ways you might use it:
Design a custom logo for a business or entrepreneurship project.
Create colorful infographics to explain data in science or social studies.
Illustrate characters or scenes for an English or creative writing assignment.
Make custom maps or diagrams for history or geography presentations.
Design posters and flyers for school events, clubs, or campaigns.
Because native Illustrator documents uses vector graphics (no pixels), everything you create stays sharp and clear regardless of size. It is the ideal (and recommended) tool for graphics that need to be used with the laser cutter. One of our most used software tools on the D level!

InDesign:
